Sharing Our Heritage With Residents and Visitors
Did you know? Each year 7,000-10,000 people visit The Museum. We welcome visitors from several countries each year. We're part of the local tourism efforts that draws visitors as well as serving the regional community.
We also welcome local residents and numerous school groups throughout the year. Our annual Mornings At The Museum programs welcome elementary students to experience history as told by re-enactors and demonstrated using Museum archives.
You can be a part, too. We love volunteers, and we welcome your donations to support our many activities. Send your donation to Greeneville Greene County History Museum, 101 West McKee Street, Greeneville, TN 37743. We will be happy to send you a receipt for your taxes.
The Museum is a 501C3 organization, meaning your contributions are normally tax deductible. Please consult your tax professional for specifics. Major funding comes from your membership and donations. We also receive occasional grants that help with our development of new galleries and programs. Your support is vital to our mission, and we thank you!
The Greeneville Greene County History Museum is planning a move to a new building located on Museum property across the intersection at Mary Gertrude Fox Park, also home to our 1787 Babb Homestead exhibit. NOTE: those red vertical panels are merely examples of banners used to promote new exhibits.
