Explore more than 50 ceramic face jugs created by Greeneville High School students as part of a historical art project. Each student brings their own creativity to a Southern pottery tradition with roots in the work of enslaved African American potters in 19th-century South Carolina.
The display will be open in the museum’s Community Classroom from November 7 through the end of November. Admission is free, and no registration is required.
