About the event

Earth Day Trash Art Classes

April 18 | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Greeneville Greene County History Museum

Celebrate Earth Day at the museum with a fun, creative activity for kids! On April 18 from 11 AM to 4 PM, children are invited to visit the museum’s Community Classroom to take part in Trash Art Classes, where everyday recycled materials are transformed into unique works of art.

Guided by a creative teacher, young artists will use donated items such as cartons, cans, cardboard, and other recycled materials to build imaginative sculptures and art pieces. Kids may drop in anytime during the event hours to participate.

All artwork created during the program will be displayed in the Community Classroom throughout the summer, allowing families and visitors to enjoy the creativity of local children before the pieces are returned to their makers.
